The Title Formula

Your listing title needs to answer the buyer's first three questions instantly:

[Year] [Make] [Model] — [Key Selling Point] — [Price]

Example: "2017 Honda Accord EX — Clean Title, New Tires — $9,900"

The Description Formula

Structure your description in this order:

1. Hook — The one thing that makes this car a great buy
2. Key specs — Year, make, model, trim, mileage, engine, transmission
3. What's been done — Recent maintenance, new parts, inspections
4. What it needs — Be honest about any issues (buyers find out anyway)
5. Title and history — Clean title, one owner, no accidents
6. Call to action — "Cash or financing, serious inquiries only"

Pricing Strategy

Check 10 comparable listings on CarGurus and Facebook Marketplace. Price at the median or 3–5% below to generate fast inquiries. Never price at the top of the range unless your car is truly exceptional.
